With a proven track record of guiding projects from master planning and construction through to pre-opening and full operational delivery, he has been at the forefront of developing some of the industry’s most ambitious and high-profile clubs.
His leadership is defined by building sustainable business models, delivering service excellence, and elevating brand positioning to establish clubs as market leaders. Beyond day-to-day operations, he has successfully directed the staging of international tournaments, including HSBC events and PGA Tour–sanctioned championships, securing global recognition and prestige for the venues under his management .
James DURKIN
Director of Golf
James is an experienced golf industry professional whose career spans luxury resorts and international markets. From managing retail operations across multiple Abu Dhabi clubs to leading large-scale teams at Yas Acres and Vattanac Golf Resort, he has gained diverse expertise in operations, customer service, and cultural adaptability.
His journey includes pre-opening projects, retail management, tournament delivery, and staff development within the Troon network. Living and working across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, James has developed a broad perspective on global golf operations, combining hands-on leadership with a deep understanding of international hospitality environments.
Ravdy LAM
Sales & Marketing Manager
Ravdy has been a key part of the Vattanac Golf Resort team since joining on August 8, 2022. She began as Event Manager and was promoted to Sales & Marketing Manager after just 18 months. With over a decade of experience in the sales and marketing field, including five years in hotel hospitality and five years focused on golf hospitality, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her skills include marketing, managing travel agency partnerships, and handling corporate and tournament events.
Ravdy is committed to using her extensive experience to ensure every golfer who visits Vattanac Golf Resort receives an exceptional and memorable hospitality experience.

Front Office Manager
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including two decades at InterContinental Hotels and five years in the golf sector, Chansavady Kang brings a wealth of expertise to his role as Front Office Manager at Vattanac Golf Resort. His leadership is built on a strong foundation of service excellence, operational knowledge, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Chansavady is dedicated to developing a capable, professional, and service-oriented team. Veasna is a seasoned Food & Beverage Manager at Vattanac Golf Resort, where he has been an integral leader since joining in January 2023. With an impressive 19-year tenure in the luxury hospitality industry, including two years in the golf sector, he brings refined expertise in five-star service standards, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and premium guest experiences.
A dynamic professional with over a decade of specialized F&B leadership, Veasna excels at curating exceptional dining experiences, optimizing operations, and elevating service excellence. His deep industry knowledge, combined with a passion for hospitality, ensures that every guest enjoys unparalleled service, memorable moments, and impeccable attention to detail.
Sophat HING
Head Chef
Sophat is an acclaimed Cambodian-born chef with over 25 years of culinary experience, specializing in both traditional Khmer and international cuisines. His career has spanned prestigious establishments including the American Embassy in Phnom Penh, Song Saa Luxury Resort in Sihanoukville and most recently, Vattanac Golf Resort, where he has served as Head Chef for more than three years.
Renowned for crafting exceptional dining experiences for guests ranging from top VVIPs to everyday visitors, Sophat is passionate about innovation, menu development, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. Driven by creativity and a love for hospitality, Sophat’s mission is to deliver memorable dining experiences that delight the senses and leave a lasting impression on every guest.
Brad CHENG
Golf Course Superintendent
Brad has been Golf Course Superintendent at Vattanac Golf Resort since December 2024. A GCSAA Class A Superintendent with over 12 years of international turf management experience, he has worked across China, Malaysia, and the UAE, supporting major tournaments such as the HSBC Champions and Buick Open.
At Vattanac, Brad leads the agronomy team in delivering championship-level playing conditions and strengthening the resort’s reputation as one of Asia’s premier golf destinations.
Ben GEAR
Head Teaching Professional
Ben is a passionate PGA of Australia Golf Professional with over 17 years of international coaching experience across Australia, China, Malaysia, and now Cambodia.
Specializing in player development, he provides expert coaching to golfers of all levels, from beginners to elite amateurs and professionals, using modern technology such as Trackman, Swing Catalyst, and TPI methodology.
Certified in Junior and Fitness development, Ben has successfully built and delivered high-participation programs for juniors and women, and is passionate about the continued growth of golf in Cambodia.
Fluent in English and conversational in Mandarin, he connects with a diverse range of players, fostering confidence, skill improvement, and long-term engagement in the game.
Phoumary LOU
Event Coordinator
With over a decade of experience in the tour operations industry, Phoumary joined Vattanac Golf Resort in 2022 as Event Coordinator, bringing with him a strong background in tourism and hospitality. His expertise quickly translated into success, particularly in organizing corporate tournaments and the resort’s signature golf events.
In recognition of his consistent achievements, Phoumary was promoted to Tournament Coordinator after just two years. With a keen understanding of tournament organizers’ needs, he is dedicated to delivering seamless, high-standard hospitality and unforgettable golf tournament experiences that reflect the prestige of Vattanac Golf Resort.
